What our students say...

Learning Norwegian can sometimes be overwhelming, however, my teacher Yelena, is very patient and descriptive when explaining pronunciation. She answers all our class's questions in the simplest form. She's very enthusiastic which makes the class enjoyable. Definitely recommend her!Posted on Michelle MDTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Veldig fornoydPosted on LeyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. "Alt godt har en slutt”. B1-B2-kurset i norsk har hjulpet meg til å ta et skritt videre på den lange veien mot å bli bedre i et nytt språk. Jeg er veldig fornøyd med nivået på skolen. Og til slutt: tusen takk til Eigil 👨🏼🎨 for tålmodighet og dedikasjon – det gjør alt mye enklere.Posted on Juyin InamdarTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hei, I took the intensive 6 months package for learning Norwegian and it was worth every minute and every penny I paid for it. The course like I mentioned was intensive.. 4 days a week, 2 hours every day. But it’s the routine and consistency that makes you familiar with the language more quickly. The teachers I had were very good. They all brought good energy and knowledge to every single class. Also any amount of silly questions were welcomed and answered seriously. That really gave everyone a safe space to not be afraid to talk in Norwegian. We had different teachers for every level. David, Emma, Yelena, Ingrid, Julia - they were all amazing teachers that I had over this 6 months course. Few tips from my end - you only learn as much as you want to. So put effort. It’s important you go home and study and learn on your own too. Watch norsk movies, read book. They all help a lot. And no matter how broken you think your Norwegian is - keep speaking in Norwegian. Do not switch back to English. Speak norsk has their own books so it’s much easier to follow based on your level. But the extra effort is definitely required. I even took Norskprøve to check. And only after taking A1 and A2 levels of classes, I got B1 in reading, writing, listening and speaking parts of Norskprøve. Definitely worth the effort and time. I personally highly recommend these classes!!Posted on Andrew PrestonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Johannes and his energy are major confidence boosters in the online learning! I did struggle a bit in the final A1 test though when it came to "måtesadverber" because I don't recall any of the videos in the A1 module going through it, but otherwise it's helped me immensely and I can't wait to go on to A2!Posted on Chloe HoffmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience learning with Speak Norsk. Antje’s classes were engaging, and she went above and beyond to make everyone in the class feel welcome and supported. I highly recommend Speak Norsk to anyone looking to improve their NorwegianPosted on Carmen MarinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Antje er en fantastisk norsklærer. Hun forklarer alt på en klar og praktisk måte, har mye tålmodighet og tilpasser undervisningen til elevens behov. Jeg lærte utrolig mye takket være henne og følte meg alltid godt støttet. Anbefales på det varmeste.Posted on Emily LoeschTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I completed the 6-month intensive Norwegian course at Speak Norsk, going from A1 to B2, and I can’t recommend the school enough. The program was structured, challenging, and effective, but what really made the experience so great was my teacher, Antje! She is a wonderful teacher who creates such a supportive and engaging classroom while still keeping lessons challenging.Posted on Mariam Gambashidze-MaurinsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Before choosing the school, I was very picky in terms of schedule flexibility, organizational structure, a friendly atmosphere, and, most importantly, the quality of education. I took the A2–B2 course at Speak Norsk and I am truly grateful for the experience. Language learning takes time, and I am not fluent yet, but what I gained was systematic grammar explanations, insights into the rules behind the language that are not visible in books, cultural awareness, and so much more. I would also like to thank Ingrid Maria Beltramba. Not just because she was my teacher (I had other teachers during this journey and was able to compare different teaching styles) but because she is exceptionally dedicated, excellent at explaining grammar, and creates very engaging conversations during the “Samtale” lessons, giving feedback on literally everything.Posted on Ikechukwu EzeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had taken the A2 to B1 course with Antje as the teacher for both classes. It was a lovely learning experience. She embodies the ideal teacher personality with a lot of expertise in the language accompanied with an unmatched passion to teach complex concepts in the most imaginative way possible. The course material was pretty comprehensive and the facility, pretty decent and cozy for learning. I look forward to coming back for my B2 class in due time.
